Whirl Wind

Life has been pretty hectic lately........ so here is the long overdue post. Ethan finally started sleeping through the night consistently. I have been so excited thinking it was perfect timing for the new baby coming. But of course that did not last very long! Poor Ethan caught a nasty virus that gave him sores all over his mouth...... no eating or sleeping for a week.....Ahhhhhh! Not to mention the fever that came with it, and the cold that made it hard to breath at night. Soooo He has been sleeping in our bed. It was so sad, I could tell he was so tired and wanted to go to sleep but couldn't. He would sleep for 30 min. and then scream for the next hour until he'd fall asleep...so we would just walk in circles around the house. The worst part was because it was a virus there is no medication to give him. I am praying he will transfer back to his bed again and sleep htrough the night. POOR ETHAN AND POOR MOM!

Marcus is getting an early start on Ethan's golf lessons, and has insisted that I find Ethan some golf clubs. Ethan loves hitting the ball!

I still am cute...... even when I'm a mess!

Multi tasking

This pict is for Grandma who didn't get to see Ethan opening his present. It' s his "Bwar" that he loves. He sets it on his window seal on his bedroom and talks to him.

Poor Ethan!! You know, I don't know if it would help at all, but we had a similar situation once. Elisa got TERRIBLE sores in the back of her throat shortly after she started attending Nursery... I took her to the dr... same thing... no meds to get rid of the virus. However, the doc gave a rx for I think a small dose of Tylenol with Codiene. I know, sounds harsh to give a toddler... but it really did help with her discomfort and pain until she got over that dang illness. I can relate to how you feel right now - frazzled?! I was. Just thought I'd share that with you in case it could help. Otherwise, hang in there and give Ethan hugs and kisses and tell him to get better NOW! :)

Give Ethan kisses for me. You're right..he is too cute to get mad at. Some of those pics look just like you at that age:)

I can honestly say that I dont know how you feel. Sorry. Ella has never had more than a cold and rarely wakes up at night. If she gets upset, we put her in our bed(bad thing) and she falls right asleep. By the way, I am unable to follow that book about getting the baby to sleep thru the night, cause I still cant let him cry it out. WE are down to just waking up 2 times for food in a 12 hour period, so thats good I think. I did this by putting a binkie in his mouth and turning him on his side to sleep when he woke up. It took only 2 days to go from waking every two hours till twice a night. Also, put this on your list to buy, I have a boppy pillow that is a whole round pillow with a dent in the middle. Jackson sleeps so sound in it. Take a look. They are at Target and Babies R US. Its by Boppy. Love it! Good luck.
