Yesterday we had a new adventure, and one I hope never happens again. After I had strapped Ethan into his
car seat, I popped the trunk to put in the stroller. As soon as I had it loaded in, a wasp flew in the car, and made a BEE line for my son. He screamed and I ran around to his door just in time to see the bee flying away. It took a minute to find where he had been stung, but within a few minutes it looked like this.

I found out the hard way what not to do. I hope none of your children ever get stung, but I learned that your never pull the stinger out with your finger. It only squeezes more
poison in the skin. Use a credit card and swipe the stinger out

"I'm so sorry you got hurt. Did you eat a popsicle? I love you Ethan! Why did a bee sting you? I think because you were outside."
